Understanding Through Experience

Point your camera at the world and see it through different eyes. Our filters simulate real visual conditions to build understanding and empathy.

Real-Time Filters

Apply visual impairment simulations to your live camera feed instantly. See what others see in real-time.

Learn About Conditions

Each filter includes educational information about the condition, its prevalence, and how it affects daily life.

Build Empathy

Perfect for educators, designers, caregivers, and anyone wanting to better understand visual impairments.

Experience Different Perspectives

Explore different visual conditions through simulated experiences. This is a work in progress - we're always adding more conditions based on your feedback.

Retinitis Pigmentosa

A genetic condition causing progressive tunnel vision and night blindness. Peripheral vision slowly deteriorates, leaving only a small central field of view. Affects approximately 1 in 4,000 people worldwide.

Stargardt Disease

The most common form of inherited juvenile macular degeneration. Causes progressive central vision loss beginning in childhood or adolescence, while peripheral vision typically remains intact.

Achromatopsia

A rare inherited condition causing complete color blindness, extreme light sensitivity, and reduced visual acuity. People with achromatopsia see the world in shades of gray and often struggle in bright light.

Diabetic Retinopathy

A diabetes complication affecting blood vessels in the retina. Causes dark spots, floaters, blurred vision, and can lead to blindness if untreated. Affects over 103 million adults globally.

Age-Related Macular Degeneration

The leading cause of vision loss in people over 50. Causes central vision loss and distortion, making it difficult to read, recognize faces, and see fine details. Affects 196 million people globally.

Glaucoma

Often called "the silent thief of sight," glaucoma gradually damages the optic nerve, causing progressive peripheral vision loss. Without treatment, it can lead to tunnel vision and blindness. Affects 80 million people worldwide.
